Retreat to Stowe, Vermont

Last week we went on a really fun retreat with Cameron's business school section, section D. We went to Stowe, Vermont. It was beautiful! All the leaves are starting to change color and the countryside is amazing. We had fun getting to know his section better and enjoyed a weekend getaway. We had a few fun stops like the original Ben and Jerry's factory and The Von Trapp family lodge- awesome!

The hills are alive!
Violet kept wanting to pose for a picture by herself- so cute! Sorry about the random construction in the background...
The dual grave of Maria Von Trapp and her husband the Baron. It was pretty awesome the grandson of Maria Von Trapp gave us our tour. We got some really interesting info. My favorite part of the tour was when the tour guide asked if there were any other questions and Cameron raised his hand and asked, "So how do you solve a problem like Maria?"...
This is the Von Trapp family lodge. This is where they moved when they left Austria- I never knew they went to Vermont!
Violet even got to pick some apples from the Von Trapp family orchard.
Quick family shot..
What a view!
We had so much fun! This weekend we are off to Portsmith, New Hampshire for our LDSSA retreat! We are SO excited! The leaves should be at their peak and we will become true "leaf peepers"- can't wait!
